Anybody have this problem. So awhile back I injured my back. Healed up, and now all of the sudden this morning I wake up with the same pain I had before. Is this common? Now I know this is not the doctors office. I was just wondering.

Yes, you've got it. There are a handful of exercises I have to do for my own back, as there is some alignment problem with some tight muscles. No matter. For what it's worth though, my PT friend strongly urged that I continue the exercises well beyond after the pain has disappeared. I can only guess as to why that's the case; perhaps a smarter mind will chime in with the reason.

Flexibility and strength do not come by themselves! Weight training, stretching, mobility exercises, chiropractic and massage should become a regular way of life for all of us!!!
Also bike fitting is very important. There are so many mechanical aspects (leg/arm length vs position of bars, pedals, cranks, seat, etc.) involved. Having any one of these askew can cause pain and issues later on down the road!!!

I think I may need to go with a shorter stem, I feel a little stretched out on the new bike. Maybe I should go and have it fitted.I don't know if the bike was the cause. I felt fine last night and woke up today in pain.

That may have been the problem last night.I usually sleep on my side with a pillow between my knees or on my back. Last night tossin and turnin, so I did sleep on my stomach.
