Not only did she finish the ride, she had a great pace throughout the whole ride! Those hills at the last few miles were tough, she rode them all!!!

Great job Willie! Heal up fast!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! My "Thanks" button doesn't work at work so I'll Thank everyone when I get home tonight!

Waldo - it was a dumb little 10 second climb, probably about one minute after you cross the street at Live Oak. To be exact, it was mile 0.45. Not even half a mile!!

Fred - I will try that for sure! I'm stuck at work today, but my foot's up on my desk. I'm going to soak this cankle when I get home tonight!! The doc wrote me a Rx for some Motrin also. I know it wasn't the smartest thing to keep riding, but I was still in denial that I got hurt on absolutely nothing.

Jason's been really nice about helping out in pretty much every way. I'm still doing the cooking, but that's ok with me since Jason only knows how to make microwaved burritos.

I'm so sorry to hear you got hurt! Kudos for toughing out the rest of the ride, I wouldn't have been able to do that ride with two good ankles! Hope it doesn't last long, heal fast!

Jason! Bro! Control your woman, dude! If word leaks out to other wives of your "arrangement," pretty soon all the husbands will be expected to spend their weekends cleaning and vacuuming. It will be the end of riding as we know it!

Willie stop passing people on the climbs and DH runs and you'll stop injuring yourself...

Get better!

Thanks Nancy and everyone. The cankle is actually feeling much better. It's almost an ankle again!

I walk a little funny, but as long as I don't move it around too much I'm OK. I think I can even ride... I rode the fake bike at the gym and it didn't hurt!
