It makes you look tough. Time to make up a better story about how it happened. That story should start out, "I was at a bar..."

Although I think scarring will be minimal, at least you got it doing something cool. And a scar tied to good story is always cool!

scars are cool. When they ask you how you got it tell them you were in prison and some guys tried to gang rape but you fought them off and that was how you got the scar.

Hopefully it doesn't look like I had cleft pallet! I think it's going to heal up fine though. Thanks for grabbing my bike by the way.

Did yo have a good time before bootleg bit your lip?
That place also bit Willie on the palm. It is a place that is not forgiving at all.
If I knew you where not going to be wearing a full face I would have made you wear one of mine. I take my bell helmet med with me also. Anyone would have had a little trouble on the 28 foot road gap ya know.
Well I hope you heal up quick.

Unfourtunatly, I live with my girlfirend of 4 years who:
1) Is a lawyer and grew up in NYC; i.e. she's not very sympathetic when its comes to stupidity.

2) Told me at least 50 times I should wear my full face helmet, and not be a tough guy (the stupidity part).
In other words, my chick is not digging the scars, and does not feel very sorry for me.

First of all, it was freaking WARM on Saturday. I wouldn't have worn a FF helmet for Skyline or below either. Breathing and air is important also.

It was an accident, it happens, especially in a sport like mountain biking.

Good thing is you don't have any broken bones and should be out riding soon. Just take care of the stitches and no worries. Your teeth are in tact, so you're good to go.
