thanks for the video John! he was following me and george on the descent into hidden valley, i am the bubb in the blue shorts. then right towards the end of the downhill heading back to the cars he cruised on by me. it was rad to see how much dust i avoided by being one of the first couple of bubbs to head down!

Thank you all for the kind words. Rides like this is why I love this sport. WS club member Treve M. emailed this to me. It's only part of what he sent to Chris Vargas (Warriors Chief) and I, but it pretty much sums it up.

" It reminded about my introduction into mountain biking and the journey to where I am today. Jeff and I always benchmark ourselves against people like Pua, Manny, and Cameron wondering how they can ride so fast. We both agree that we tend to forget those just starting out, and what we think is an easy Tuesday loop, is someones epic. I feel that this is such an amazing mountain bike community and hope that those that came continue to enjoy it on whatever level they can. I felt proud to participate as a Warrior and local mountain biker. I look forward to the next fun event." Treve

SO TRUE, Thanks again and I'll see you all on the "PAIN DIVIDE"

RACHEL AND JEFF, BECAUSE OF YOU, NO ONE WAS LEFT BEHIND! THANK YOU!

Wow I really wished I could have made this ride so like it was a lot of fun but I was camping in Catalina for my buddies bachlor party. I did catch some nice fish although got pretty scarred when I came a across a HUGE Manta Ray while spear fishing.

This was my first STR ride. What a wonderful group of people. Thank you to everyone.

I cross posted this ride on the ODC board. I had a few new riders sign up and I was nervous about them handling the ride. Their joy at making it to the top brought me back to what is really the best part of mountain biking; camraderie, support, adrenaline, accomplishment, beautiful countryside and tons o' humor.

All my riders are now STR riders and, overnight, they've turned fanatical about riding. Good job. Thank you again!

I spoke to Patrick and his son for the first time up at Beeks. What a great way to keep the family together (and save on baby sitting costs!) Simply said that family Rocks!!! (sweet bike as well although i'm not a huge fan of tandems) I've done some riding with my wife on beach paths with my son in tow but nothing significant on dirt...hope to do some soon.

hey Nam what is the ODC website you found pic at...never heard of it...thanks (good meeting you for first time as well!)
