Default RR: Newbie ride in Fullerton

I had a blast and met some very nice people. Frank, Jason and his better half, the couple on the tandem (can't remember their names), Sam, Yuca (I think thats her name) and some others. Thanks for the ride and hope to see you guys soon and I should have my girlfriend Alyssa with me next time.

That was a lot of fun! Them newbies kick butt!
Everyone did really well. I think they might be into the Thursday night ride. It's not as hot and it's fun riding in the dark. It was great seeing some new faces... now I can put faces to the screen names on here!

Aw man I missed you guys today... my fault of course. I had to ride the Loop really early due to some change in plans (started at 7:30a). I will be there next time though!

Sounds like it was a good time

Thanks guys for coming out today. Maria and I had a great time. Dam for a bunch of newbies y'all sure kick some butt, big props go out to Loran-she was terror on the trail. I'm sorry that we didn't get to hook up with you guys down at Samurai, but our son fell asleep as soon as we got him in the car at the sitters. We want to give a big THANKS to Traci for starting up this weekend newbie ride and we look forward to doing this again. I will have some photos to post just as soon as I figure out how.

great ride guys! i pulled into the lot about 5 before 9 and there had to be at least 20-25 people all geared up and ready to ride.. thanks to carbonman and his wife for the pre-ride words and i think setting the pace for the ride? sorry i didn't get to ride with everyone as i was in the back making sure we didn't lose anyone... i thought we had lost chris, sean and another rider through the singletrack at one point and had to turn around and do the climb back up 3 times

thanks to traci for setting up the ride and really getting everyone out, even though she was the first mechanical come one neil, you gotta at least check her tire pressure in her tires... bad husband she's one tough cookie tho and middle ringed the ride.

did anyone ever get an official head count? had to be at least 25 out there today.. Justin and I picked up two more riders near the end.

looks like everyone was anxious to ride

look who showed up! the Maxwell's Darin and Jake

double the pleasure, double the fun?

i think this is Tito's girl

no helmet

Jake Max

Thumbs up Fully Loopy :)

I had a good time today on the Fully Loopy. Thank you everyone who helped tour the newbies. Thank God there was no flying golf balls and no car-bike accidents. Those cross streets are dangerous. Kirk
P.S. If anyone wants to ride Aliso after work (Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays), let me know.

i may take you up on the Aliso ride deal...

what do you guys think about doing this monthly or bi-monthly? maybe 2nd and 4th saturday of every month and we can do alternate locations to mix it up a bit.

Default What a Great Ride

Thank you everyone for coming out and having such a blast! I think we had a head count of 30 in the lot.
It was really great meeting everyone.!

The best part of the whole day was to see all the smiles in the parking lot at the end....That what it's all about.

Those hills sure were a killer in the big ring! Thanks Slowspokes for the helpful hint! That last hill was much easier after that!

Nam & Justin - A big thanks for pulling up the rear.

Carbon Clan - thanks for showing us around.

Meg & Jared thanks for waiting waiting and waiting

I thinks Nam's hit the nail in the head 2x a month and mix it up..

Let's do this again soon.

Can it be on Sundays so I can go? I'm stuck at Adrenaline saturday mornings.

Maybe like noon so people can ride after church if they go to church?

Thanks for the ride guys! It was a lot of fun and if you guys organize again I'll definitely go.

On a side note (totally random), to the person with the green bike and turtle noise maker (or if anyone else knows), where did you buy your noise maker? lol. Did they have a good selection?
