Default Vid: Holy Jim drop Feb. 27th 2007

Refer to this thread for the full RR.

Here's the vid as promised. Please be kind as this is my first movie made with Final Cut Express. Yes, that's right. I'm no longer using iMovie and have finally decided to graduate to FCE. Although Final Cut isn't as user friendly as iMovie, it's a whole lot more powerful.

Movie is just about 2 minutes.

That was a sweet ride. My dive into the tree looked pretty tame compared with the awesome commando roll from Sarah

I was chatting to one of the race marshalls yesterday and he said that by the time we'd come through around 20 people had tried to ride that drop, not that many had made it. Fallers included the very skilled Manuel Prado who finished this years VQ in 2nd place. Mind you it did look really cut up yesterday compared with how smooth it was when we rode it.

Nicely done.

I enjoyed Keith's run the best. (It's hard to beat the both feet off the pedals with butt in the saddle move.)

LOL! I was about to leap off then decided not to because I didnt want to damage the bike. As an engineer I have far too much mechanical sympathy!

you didn't say it was a v10! well hell yeah. that'll be funny - a 5'2" girl on an extra-large, downhill bike. is this a trick?

Awesome vid. That chute is always the decider between a good, and great ride. I love the music, was that Maynard from Tool/Perfect Circle with Linkin Park?
