Had a great time will post pics tomorrow. Thanks to Alan, Margret and Russell you guys were great and it's amazing how you kept it all together.

Default When Heaven and Hell collide!
I've had some kick ass weekends the last month or so!
This one, the Infamous Hell ride, was just a fantastic blast!!
Truly, hell is what you make it and this certainly was no hell! (and you sir, are no hell)
Many, many thanks to Russell(what a man with no arms and no legs does in a pile of leaves) and Margaret for their incredible leadership and kindness on the ride.
Setting it up and getting Dons Bike shop to give us tubes and a fun give-away at the pizza joint!
I guess some people surprised themselves at what they accomplished today. Dig deep, get rewards!
How wonderful that I got to ride with the folks I was really hoping I could ride with and some new fun people too! I must admit was I was hesitant about this many people but it worked out really well!











Who is this guy? He was a riot! At Angelus Oaks as I'm eating my pie, Fruit of the Forest of course,
he comes up and says this is his 2nd mtn bike ride. He's a roadie. He wants to know how you keep your balance. I'm not belittling him. He was good and clearly having fun! What happened to him? Is he still out there?

Mountain Man! No finer gentleman. Will ride forever on a trail but quickly volunteer to take a distressed rider and lead them out!


I think that's Pain Freak behind this guy getting handful as Sheclimbs hurries to join in!

This guy Collin took a dive over the side! He was OK, but got a leg cramp and was then given a flask of pickle juice(whatever)and I gave him a couple Endurolytes but it was actually Valium to calm him down.
That's what i would need if I took a cliff dive!

Liz, the roadie who asked you about balancing made it down safely. He was in my group for the last fire road descent and he headed home shortly after we arrived at the pizza joint. Poor guy was on a loaner bike and I had to show how to unlock his fork at the beginning of the ride.

Big thanks and praises to Allen, Margaret and Russell to set up such a grand venue. The ride was well coordinated and Dons Bike Shop even provided tubes and Gu before our journey! SART for me was the traditional Loch Levin to South Fork and back. Well...a whole new world just opened up on this ride. I had one of the funnest rides below the Post Office back down to the Uncle Howie's Pizza! The only Hellride for me was the ride home since I couldn't hang out longer at the Pizza Joint.

My shoulder is sore from my one tumble. My eyes are sore from looking at photos. But I'm going out for a ride in a few, and will post photos later. It was a GREAT day, a real epic ride.

Many, many thanks to Don's bike shop in Rialto, to ESRI for allowing all of us to "crash" their ride, and Margaret, Russell and the other locals who led our group and the other groups through the unknown portions of the lower SART into Redlands. Also Steve (autoduel) and Todd for the carpooling options.

Holy Crap. I need to pay attention and plan my weekends earlier. Prior commitment kept me from joining.

Once CrazySue gets her strength back, we'll be joing the epic hellride adventures.

Now I'm off to go suffer on my own Hell roadride.

I wanted to echo the sentiments of many here. A BIG thanks to Russell, Margaret, Al, Dons Bike Shop and whoever else helped organize this event. It was a huge success and I think everyone had fun. Margaret was our group leader and she did a great job. Margaret is a hellluva strong rider and she passed some of us going up to Morton's Peak without breaking a sweat. Like Liz said Collin went off the trail a little bit but I think Steve left a little more skin on the traill. I'm sure 1FG will post some pictures of the carnage soon. Thanks for all the great pictures and for the push(DM&LL). It was great to see some old faces and meet some new ones although I did not get some names.
