I know some of you will pass on this because there aren't any pictures, that's o.k., if I had brought my camera, I never would have stopped to take a pic, it was too stinking cold! Trail conditions were primo, the rain did wonders for the trails. Normally I wouldn't post a rr with this ride, but I tried a singlespeed for the first time, what a blast! Totally different mentality when you ride. I had a suspiscion I would like it, but not as much as I did. There's a pretty long, rocky climb that I did not think I would make, but I did. Definitely felt the jello legs, but it was worth it. There were only three of us riding, and one guy that normally edges me out on the climbs, was eating my dust.......err.....I mean....what do you say when there is no dust? Anyhow, you know what I mean. Whoever it was that suggested the sandwich baggies for the toes, THANK YOU! I've been using them lately, and it works great! Today, I'm taking my steel hardtail in to convert it to SS! I'll post pics once it's done.

Jason welcome to ss'ing. Not that you need to be any faster, but you will gain some speed.

Was this the Incycle ride? If I could get out of work at a decent time I'd join that ride.

Thanks for the compliment, and yes, it was the Incycle ride. I have a Jan. class that meets on Mon. nights, but when Feb. comes, I'll be there. Light turnout last night, fair-weathered MTBer's I guess.
