This is a great loop ride in the Santa Barbara backcountry. About 10 miles with about 2k of climbing. Initial 4 mile fire road climb is boring and pretty steep in a couple spots but once on the Camuesa Connector it's worth it. The trail was in pretty good shape despite equestrian use. I even happened upon a couple smokin' hot equestrians on the trail
but was too addled to remember to take a picture. This is a pretty remote singletrack that winds through the back country with some fun ups and downs with a few challenging switchbacks thrown in. It's not worth a drive from So Cal but if you're in the area, definitely worth doing.Start of the singletrack ![]() Not a tract home in sight ![]() A pretty dry Santa Ynez river ![]() I'll be back.
