Default Warriors Society event updates, Who's in?

The Vision Quest and Counting Coup sold out in record time. These events will sell out as well. With only half the number of entries allowed, I highly suggest you sign up as soon as the registrations open. Here is some info on the events. I'm in for both. Hope to see you there!

Due to Forest Service permit restrictions we will have to limit participation in “The Traverse” and the Toad Festival race and long fun ride
to 150 participants each (instead of the 300 we originally planned on). The Toad Festival race and long fun ride will be limited to 75 participants EACH. The short fun ride through the O’Neill Park open space will have no participation limit since that is held on County Open Space under a different permit.
If you plan on participating in either event we advise you to register as soon as registration opens up in case these events sell out as quickly as
the Counting Coup and Vision Quest did.

REGISTRATION FOR “THE TRAVERSE” WILL OPEN ON NOVEMBER 1ST AND REGISTRATION FOR THE TOAD FESTIVAL WILL OPEN ON DECEMBER 1ST.

Here is the update on the events:

* “The Traverse” - REGISTRATION OPENS NOVEMBER 1ST - Saturday, May 17th. Start time 6:00 a.m. (40 miles with 8,000 +- of total elevation gain) 150 person limit. The race will have Intermediate ($65) Expert ($65) and Pro ($75) Classes with the Pros racing for finishing cash. PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO 150.
“The Traverse” event will be a fundraiser for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund. The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund honors the bravery
and dedication exhibited by Americans in our Armed Forces who have sacrificed life or limb defending our country by providing educational
scholarships to their children.

* The Toad Festival - REGISTRATION OPENS DECEMBER 1ST - Saturday, June 7th. 75 participation limit race, 75 participant limit long fun ride, and no participation limit short fun ride.
- Toad Race: (27 miles w/ 5,000 ft. of total elevation) Start Time 7:00 a.m. The race will have Intermediate ($65) Expert ($65) and Pro ($75) Classes with the Pros racing for finishing cash. PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO 75
- Fun Ride Long Course: ($45) (27 miles w/ 5,000 ft. of total elevation gain) Start time 8:00 a.m. The Fun Ride will have games along the course.
The person(s) with the highest points wins prizes. PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO 75
- Fun Ride Short Course: ($45 for adults and $25 for kids 13 and under). 10-miles w/ 500 ft. of climbing. Start time 9:00 a.m. This ride is a great
beginners and kids ride through the beautiful tree covered trails of O’Neill Park. The Fun Ride will have games along the course. The person(s) with the highest points wins prizes.
The Toad Festival will be a fundraiser for “Talk About Curing Autism”
(TACA):

Will do Doug. I will put a reminder out a couple days before and then just hours before the registrations open.
