[SIZE=2] Hey gang,

I am 100% committed to participating in this race. I need to find 2 or 3 more other people who could commit to forming a team! I know this is short notice as far as training goes, so please know what you're getting yourself into. That having been said, this is my first 24, and with such short notice, I am not particularly interested in winning. It will be an amazing experience regardless of how we place! Sonora is GORGEOUS country, you will love it!

With that $195.00 entry fee per person or $585 per 3 man, $480 pre 4 man, it's a bit high, plus the drive up to the bay area and lodging as well. I'm speaking for myself. I have my cash tied up in the VQ, LB bike tour, Mt Sac Fat tire Race and possibly 12 hr of Temecula. Can't do it bro. Sorry Sean. Does sound like a good event.

Yeah, I hear ya. 200 bones plus gear...but it's gold rush country, I used to live up there...where Mark Twain and Brett Harte lived...absolutely breathtaking! The drive is only 5.5 hours/375 miles from Mission Viejo area.

I'm hoping to do the CC in '08. Looks like a gnarly event!

Anyone else?! I think we only need one or 2 more, may have found a female friend who is interested.

We're either doing a crazy suffer fest on big bikes or doing DH shuttles with Den Mother and company.
