I'm not that fast!!

My 5TH place showing proves that!!

I had a great time and I realize I have some more work to do if I let some guy on a singlespeed kick my ass...Great job Pho!!

Not to make any excuses, but I had a wild hair up my ass to ride a skateboard around on Saturday. Not a smart move since I haven't touched that board in 3 years.

I used to have it in my sig, but does anyone remember me saying, "Sandbagger? Me? Then why can't I win a race?"

Oh yeah...great shots Sharky!!

lol see that family in the background. that's myself and my bro with our girlfriend's.

I never saw anyone. Well, not true, I apparently spotted Alison from a way back by the tents but on the course or lining up, I figured everyone was too far up in sport to get a "hey" in if I could spot em.

Great job Brandon!! B and I diced it up a little bit on the course before my legs gave out. Luckily, he got a flat so I could catch him.

Thanks for the encouragement on some of the climbs. I was hurtin'!! Keep it up...you're just going to get faster!!

Thanks!!

I was pretty stoked... the third lap was tough physically and mentally. I wanted to give up a few times. Especially because the other female kept passing me on EVERY climb...

My avg. HR was 177!! That's ridiculous!

Nope, I think I lucked out this time. My doping regime was beer, chicken salad and a King's hockey game the night before.

And BTW-

That Salsa Allison was riding?

Just about the sickest thing I've ever seen, complete with DreadSet and pin-lines in the paint.

And it weighed NOTHING.....about half of what Brandon's bike did! Ya fill the tires with helium or what?

Nice ride young lady. Way, way nice ride.

No doubt. That Salsa DosNiner is lighter than my singlespeed.

Was built up special as my Counting Coup bike last year (I got it Nov 06). Yesterday was its first XC race challenge

We got it as a deal from Speedgoat when they were blowing out the 06 Dos Niner frames with the 29er Reba fork and a Cane Creek headset. Sold the headset and ordered up a dreadset (PERFECT for the frame!). Decided to go full rasta, or red where there wasn't a rasta part available.

Inaugural ride (Whiting - Old Camp)

Top of the world

Broken...

Replaced

In action

New, wider handlebar

Gettin' me on the podium

Sorry for the OT I love my bike!!
