I'm impressed. I only have little stickers of my name.

My race jerseys usually only have the logo of the jersey manufacturer on them. And sometimes the tag sticks out on the back of the collar.

I think just rockin the STR jersey is all thats necessary , Allison made reference to the next order coming here shortly , You can rock your nickname on the back !! that would be cool .. Im noticing STR is a combo of all riding disciplines , no need to specify DH , come one , come all , Just imagine , thats allot of riders and support !!

I'd be down. There are plenty of us racing in Sport or possibly even Expert that aren't sponsored by shops!! Teams can get cool stuff from companies... actually at Interbike I picked up a little card that SRAM is looking to promote some grass roots teams through sponsorship.

Not to mention maybe companies like Hammer, or Elete, or something similar.

Might be able to go hand-in-hand with whatever George is working on through getting shops to kick in for jerseys? I dunno, though.

But, I'd be down if George is cool with us starting a team of some sort!

I think that's right. as uncomplicated as can be. want to race for STR? Grab a jersey. Can't afford one? Spray paint STR on a T-shirt. there you go, your in.

Not sure there should be an "in charge" person. I think if we are going to do this it should mirror the way STR is now. we all get together, we vote..we go.

If you can make it, fine, if you cant, fine, if you can race beginner, fine. Expert? Fine. etc...etc.

Podium? Outstanding. Didn't podium? Outstanding too. All about effort.

In no way, shape or form should this interfere with any other teams established. If your team allows it, then welcome aboard. If they dont. no problem, we'll cheer for you just as hard.

This team would be about getting together and having fun in a competitive way. Kep it simple and most of all keep it fun.

i think STR should make some patches or something that we can sew on your other teams dh jerseys though
that would be so cool...
but instead of that Brown dirt color, i say we go with like black and white, keep it basic and cool looking

Last year at the Southridge races, the Incycle and Path teams were almost always close together, many of the riders are STR members as well. We should just have our set-ups close together, with a common area to sit at. I manage the Incycle team, and I think it would be cool for everyone to hang out.

good idea... we should put the INCYCLE ez-up and put the PATH ez-up next to it... then WE should all pitch in and have an STR ez-up made and set all three together

I was thinking that the tents would still be a little seperated, so that people can work on their bikes or whatever under their respective team tents. In your case, you could work on my bike for me.

well if you wanna teach me how to do stuff that i dont know how to do ill work on your bike =)
it'll be good practice so in case i wanna get a job at INCYCLE next year
Today Golden Boy (JA[german so say the J like a Y duh]) reminded me how to center my brake pads cuz i forgot how... now my pads dont rub anymore =)

My point exactly though. We dont want to separate anyone. Sit under any tent you want. maybe a simple patch or a sticker on the helmet would do it.

keep it simple. maybe we could get a place on this Forum for pics of STR stickers seen at races.
