Default 2007 24 Hrs of Adrenaline

Anyone riding this? Anyone want to join a 5-man (and woman) just for fun team???

I'm doing the 8hrs, but have some friends that need 2 more for the 5 man. No pressure/no stress, just fun

Love 24 hour racing but am just going to do the 8 hr solo, have to save some energy and legs for Interbike..the dirt demo starts that following Monday.

Hey Rachel, where are setting up camp?

Good luck Rachael! I doubt I'll be making an appearance but I'll do my best to turn up.

I'm in with a 5 man along with Jason(mtnbikej). We will be representing Warriors Society/Switchback Cyclery. I'll see you there.

gene - good luck to you and tem at race. also what's up...are you a full fledged Warrior yet?

Better get that deal done, before some incriminating pics of you dancing or striking a blue steel pose show up on internet j/k if so major congrats.

seen your WS name change a few times on siginture. if still not "solidifed" my unsolicited and worthless vote is for sweeping rider, leading newbies or maybe leader of the back. or how about Toma(ha)c of the hills whatever it ends up, just hope it not flounder

Yup will be out in the largest 5 man category. Dropped the Warrior's Society from the name.....only 3 of us are Warrior's. However, they are still listed as a Sponsor.

BTW......like the new name Gene.

Thanks Adam. It's official. I am "Guides New Warriors" Here's a what 's in the latest WS News letter.

I'd also like to mention that both Chip and Gene have been given club
names
by John "Keeps What Happens" Early. Chip has been named "Talks With
Foxes"
after an incident in which he mentioned that he did not expect to see
any
wildlife but ran into two very cute foxes (he loves "wild life").

Gene has been given the name "Guides New Warrior's" to recognize his
willingness and patience to guide new Warrior's on rides. Both names
have
been approved by Safety Office Lare-Dog who hopes to join Chip on one
if his
"wild life" rides.

Kewl, I'll be looking for all of you guys there.

I'm not sure what the camp site numbers are, where John, and the team will be, but I'll let you guys know when I find out.

I'm doing the 8 hr, not because I think I'm a stud or anything (I hope to get 5-6 laps in without dying), but because on Sunday at 0600, I'm flying out of LAX to Vermont.

Gene--congrats!

Update: We have campsites #3 & 4

How are you doing the 8Hr support stuff? (Like food/water/bottle fills) Running back to the campsite? Not having done more than a lap at a time on a team, I'm just not sure of this stuff.

We are camping in over in area A #28. This is quite a ways away from the start/finish area. Much quieter there.
