Default Way to go Sauce!! (Podium at Marathon National Championship)

Congrats to Sauce for making the podium in the open women 19-29 category at the Marathon National Championship in Breckenridge, Colorado a couple of days ago. Well done!! I'm very proud of you and I'm fortunate to be working with such talent as a coach.

Anyway, two more podiums at national races and STR's Sauce will be moving up to the pro ranks. Woo hoo!!

No. She rode a "geeky" Specialized...she can post all the details, but I think she might be a Specialized convert now.

Damn right! The altitude did affect us a bit more than I had figured.

haha. thanks guys. actually, tani let me use his bike. thank god! a nomad on that course would have been too much. i felt really geeky, though. :-)

congrats to mario for getting 12th (out of a large field of the best riders in the country) and finishing only a few minutes behind monique! and congrats to monique for coming in second, only 20 second behind first-place finisher shonni (sp?) from Luna chicks.

monique and ron let us stay in their rv. they are the nicest, most down to earth people. monique is well on her way to being the best female mountain biker in the world!
