Altadena Naked Crow MTB Challenge?

anyone know about this? There is not much on the course on the website. I noticed it's August 5th (same day as Rim Nordic#3)

My friend and I emailed the organizer and asked the same question, WHERE is the course?
He said it took him so long to aquire a permit and cost him so much work that he is not giving it away.
It will be a surprise I guess, he did say around 7-8 miles.

My friend and I met the guy a ways back when the city finnaly gave him the go-ahead on the race, and he said the same thing, the course will be a suprise. If I remember right, he has been working on putting this together for 7 years.

Either way, two of my friends are racing, look for them in the blue Subaru/Gary Fisher kits.

The race was a mass start from the Windsor parking lot up Brown mountain, over to Millard canyon, up and over Chaney trail down to Altadena Dr. and finish at Loma Alta park. Winning time was a blistering 37.50.

They're both super strong riders, I had a feeling they would do well.

How did everyone else here do? I think they're coming into the Restaurant tonite for some beers around 8:45pm, if anyone wants to join em.
