What a great time I had on Saturday!

I was nice to meet your family Shudder. You're gonna find out soon, how much fun it is to pedal around a course and get pictures of Willie while he is racing. It comes pretty close to racing it's self, when it comes to putting out riding effort.

I finally got some good pictures of our friend Don Jackson. We met him a couple of years back, and he's alawys at the races. He's been one of Lacey's biggest supporters, always giving her encouragement, and telling her to most of all, HAVE FUN!

Allison, you were really grinding it out on your S/S. And Mechmann, sorry I missed getting any shots of you. You kept sneeking up, and flying by, before I could get one.

Lacey ended up getting first overall for the series. The most impressive thing to me, is how much time she's knocked off from her first race;

first race - 2 Lacey Maxwell Sport Women 34 & UnderS 2:07:13.00

Saturday she finished in 1:50!!

With TWO crashes! That's my girl!!

She's getting faster!!

It was fun watching her on the downhill sections of the course. I know she can climb, but watching her ride some of the more tech sections of the course compaired to some of the other racers, really impressed me. SWEET!!

Thanks again to the guy's at The Path for keeping the Kula primo!

Her next race is the Sea Otter. It should be a lot of fun!

man dropping 17 seconds off her lap time is awesome, thats a big time improvement.

Donny is a great guy, i usually ride with him every tuesday night at the luge and he's always good to have around with this attitude and stories

That's awesome about Lacey's improvement! She was doing great out there. The blood just makes her look tougher!

Thanks, Maxwell. And thanks for the pic of Willie. He did have a great time out there.

I was thinking as I pedaled up the tarmac hill, "Why the hell aren't I racing today?!?!? I'm doin' all the damn work here!" Ah, well -- there will be time for that soon I hope.

Have fun up north. Should be a beauty of a ride. Give Lacey my best, and I hope she does well.
