I was accused by the girls around me last race that my good wishes to riders going by had hidden subliminal crash messages. Needless to say I will be wishing ALL your competitors Good Luck for these races. Your welcome !!

Justin and I will be there as well. Most likely both days. I'll determine if I'm racing Sunday after practicing DH on Saturday. There's a family thing Sunday as well.

Franky introduced me to my new fave at the Norba race last year (Newcastle) so I'l be bringing ALL my leftover Bud for those that don't podium!!! (Mosh) Chris can bring the good stuff.

J & J, Lor, Chris, Curtis, Adrian, Ryan; Anyone want to grill up some burgers after Sundays race? We can all be grubbing while Adrian is still on the hill. I can bring my gas grill but it doesn't fit in my Runner.

I am bringing my son Willie out to race again this weekend. We have not been back since Feb 10 when we raced Sport and got our @sses handed to us (we'd never raced there before, so when we signed up, we thought, "Who wants to ride JUST ONE LOOP??"): Willie DNF'ed; and I flipped my C'dale several times on loop one. I cracked a damn rib in the process. Ick. My one success of the day was that I did not come off the bike at all on my second loop. Yippee and woohoo for me. Came in dead last in my old men's Sport class. Met Maxwell and Lacey after the fact -- hope to see them again (sounds like Lacey should have an exciting day!).

I have been sick a lot lately, so don't know if I will be up to racing myself. I have Type 1 diabetes, so it often takes me longer to recover from common illnesses than most folks, and that respiratory thing that's been going around grabbed a hold of me a few weeks ago and simply refuses to let me be now! I feel loads better right now actually. So, I guess we'll see.

If I don't race, I will certainly be popping off pics. In any case, look for me in my DAD'S ROOT BEER jersey which I will be wearing, regardless.

Also, my wife wants to see Willie race, so she and our littlest man, Toby will be along as well. A family day of XC fun!!
