Default Stupid question about DH divisions

So I've been following everyone's progress through the Fontana series here on the boards and got to thinking about how they break down the classes.

You have Beginner, Sport, Expert, Pro right? Then what age break outs do they have within each class? I tried looking on the Fontucky/Southridge site, but even with the recent update, it's still somewhat hard to navigate.

I'm sure there aren't many peeps that do it, but do they run a separate class for hardtails, or are those folks just lumped into the regular age/skill classes?

the hardtailers are just thrown in with the rest of us... as far as the age goes I'm not sure about 17 and under...but the rest is 18-26, 27-34, 35-44, 45-54 and 55+ this is for the expert, sport and beginner.....pro and vet pro are just one group

A select few races run a hardtail class, I think that Sea Otter is doing it again.

back when big bear had DH races they had a "retro" class. it was a class a just for hardtails.

i dont think south ridge has ever done anything like that.

it would be cool to see one. some trails up there are just as fast on a hardtail as a full DH bike. especially if you are racing the wall
