Yeah, thanks for that! Winston, thanks for getting out there and again, taking the photo's.
Next year I'm thinking about doing the CC with the BOB trailer filled with 3 gallons of Bloody Mary's for all the volunteers. That will probably take 7 hours too.

Congats to all that raced. Looks like all the training paid off.
From the pics it looks like someone finally slipped George(LBmtb) some "Homer" kool-aid.
Thanks for the pics.

Excellent pics Bret! Good to have so much STR support. Alot of Geoladders people out there too.

Are we writing individual ride reports for the race??

Thanks for the great pic, I think it's they're the only ones I have smiling during this.

I'd like to take a few minutes to re-enact one of my fave childhood cartoons with you guys...George of the Jungle.

The part of George will be played by me.

Warrior's Society:
"George, George, George of the Jungle, slow as she can be;
George, George, George of the Jungle, WATCH OUT FOR THAT.....

AND THE ROCK....

But, I did finish....in just about the same time that I completed the Counting Coup two years ago.

Those fast guys have it easy, spending just 5-6 hours on the bike; you should all try to do that in 10 hours--THAT'S tough

Congrats to you all!!! And thanks to EVERYONE for the support and encouragement along the way, it was REALLY appreciated. You guys are ALL way cool!

Congrats to both of you for riding through the pain.

What the heck are they doing stopped at Beek's place? Was there a party I didn't know about?

I learned 3 years ago that stopping ruins me. "must keep going..."

Talking Congrats to you you guys & girls from Upper Holy Jim

It was a real pleasure to watch you all come through my checkpoint at the bottom of Upper Holy Jim (remember that HARD right hand turn?). I tried to associate your numbers, names and STR handles but sometimes I missed until after you had gone by. I tried to call out your names just to encourage and got several strange looks back wondering how in the hell I knew your names.... I was happy to see that there wasn't too much blood flowing by the time you reached me... although Sarah's leg looked nasty but didn't seem to be slowing her down!

I'm not sure what's worse, having to ride the mother of all events or standing there for over 6 hours? Anyway you guys & girls make it all worthwhile.

OMR

PS: Sorry Andy about the beer (it sure was good & cold!) he he he he..... I may be old but I'm not crazy!

I don't know the two guys taking photo's but I would like to thank the both of them. I forgot my camera, not that I would have stopped to take a picture of myself anyway, but I was stoked to find one on here for the memories. On motorway, I was trying to pass the guy in front of me and as always I look dead... sitting down just cruising. What's funny is that I saw the photo man on motorway from above and when we came around I saw him snap a pic of the guy right in front of me so I thought for sure I wasn't getting a shot. I would have made a funny face. I got all bummed and thought about that 3/4's of the way up maple until I ran in Ryan1234 on geoladders... I even passed on the aid station freebies and water all upset. Your mind plays with you sometimes.

Anyway, I would to give thanks to the guys who volunteered their time to take a few pics and give them out for free on here.

's on me if I ever meet you guys.
