I've done it 5 or 6 times and will probably do it again. Always a fun time. Bring a lawnchair for the after race raffle. Last year they started the raffle with the racers still on the course, that wasn't fair. I'd suggest leaving your ticket with someone who's going to be there. When I got done with my race (4 laps expert class) the two good forks had already been claimed.I still walked away with a coupon for shoes at Jensons for up to 200 dollars and I got a really good pair of roadie shoes.

I know it's your first race, and from the 1 time I rode with you, I predict you will smoke the beginner class. Do I hear a vote for sport?

Problem here is the beginners times are usually faster then the sport class. I'm not kidding, I've seen it happen twice here. I think Khai should do the beginner.

I agree, just wanted to give someone a hard time, since dirttorpedo hasn't posted in a while.

heheh, i will be happy if i can hang on the back of my beginner group, but i will still try to see if i can be Floyd Landis on the last stage. anyway this will be a great first racing experience for me.

i heard that the avg heart rate during racing is 170, is that true?

Beginner group? That had better be SS beginner...and you'd better place somewhere in the top three.

That was the time when Sport class was faster than the Experts.

a very fun race, be ready to hike a bike at least twice per lap.
