Donny made the announcement today at Fontana. More details will be posted later in the week!!!! We don't know which courses, but the festivities will be held and Canyon Lodge.

Not that I was planing on going for cal state 4x crown(especially now) now but how does this effect the 4x? Are they going to build a 4x track in Mammoth?

good question on 4X. I think I'm going to wait for a nice safe DS race though. I like the head-to-head racing, but I don't like having other people able to kill me...

also, any word on possible race courses? probably just velocity? something like chainsmoke would be nutty. Bullet would be SUPER fun if you optioned that top rock garden, but it's hard to get to. or my personal favorite: flow to shotgun. yay for urging people to hit the flow drop

back in the day they would run the pro/ex down Chain Smoke or Bullet and the sport beg down Velocity or Follow Me.... I'll take either one.....

The festivities will be held at Canyon Lodge, so the courses will be based on what trails end up there. I guess we will just have to wait for the official announcement and flyer!!!

They have had both 4x and DS races at Mammoth in years gone by......

This is not an XC event, this is Southridges Cal State Cup for DH/4x.

Back in the day they were runnin' the Kamikaze. That's what they should do again and we could break out the 62t rings and 11-21 cassettes.
