I have to agree that the price of this event is, at the very least, excessive. At over $400 a pop for a two man team and over $300 for soloists, it seems as though they're tacitly trying to discourage these two classes of participants from entering the race.

The exhorbitant cost becomes even more pronounced when you compare the post-race events to those of, say, the Warrior's Society or Team Big Bear. Both of those organizations have great raffles and give away some pretty awesome prizes to the participants whereas the 24HOA guys don't bother with the raffle and really give little or nothing back to their riders.

While it's a great event at a great venue, they really need to do something to justify the amounts they're charging.
