Default Race Review: Racers and Chasers XC #1

Had an awesome time today at Vail! The course was def. harder than Mt. SAC. But it was still fun as all hell!

I was originally going to do beg. but this morning at I saw a Sport/Clyde. So I decided to give ti a whirl and see how I did. Turned out, no other Clydes showed up. So by default I got first! lol But I did come in back of the pack for Sport. I got some training to do for the next two races.

Qua77ro took shots (and lots of them). I'm sure he'll post em up here.

Thanks to the promoters for an awesome event! The number plates alone were worth the registration price. I loved the fact the "awards" were from the same pile of leather scaps!

Congrats on the podium, the rest of the Sport/Clydesdales were home watching college football. The immortal words of Dick Vitale, A win is a win, Baby!

luke wants a little bit of challenge so he let one rider pass him and see if he can catch up.

hehe I posted at that sand trap on the first lap, I'd say less than 40% of the people made it on that lap without unclipping. That was a great corner to shoot.

If anyone wants larger versions let me know

Glad you like it Scott. There were a few good shots that came out, next time I'd like to head up early and scout the course, unfortunately it wasn't marked ahead of time for me to do that lol.

Thanks again for the sweet pictures!

Sorry fellow STRers...I didn't know who many of you were or I would've introduced myself. Next time I'm just going to write STR in black marker on my leg so you can find me.
