Default 2008 12 Hours of Temecula #3 Roll Call

We're only 6 weeks out from the final 12 Hours of Temecula for 2008. Race day is November 15th. I've put it on the calendar here:

http://www.socaltrailriders.org/foru...2008-11-15&c=2

So who's in? I'll be racing solo again.

I believe I'll be there with my 4 man team. We'll see if I can man up and be ready for a little pain.

Default Lets get it on!!!!

Well weve been spending a lot of time on course lately and I finally feel pretty good about the final lines. If you check out the web site I have posted the final course description. Of course I still have a lot of work to do out there but I think it is going to be a blast!
Basically 10 miles long with 1345 elevation.
The biggest change is I took out the meadows and the marine corp hill.
Also I added a singletrack section after the marlin downhill. For those of you familiar with vail lake it is the singletrack on the opposite side of the rc car track up on the ridgeline.
Anyways looks like fun.
Also you guys gotta check out the awards for the overalls. Very cool!
See ya!

The Nimrods will be out in full force! I think we may have 2 three man or possibly 5 two man teams. I see my math does not add up. Some of the nimmy's are wanting 3 man teams. (Pussies!) We will work hard to turn the slowest times, provide the most whining and complaining about how much the race hurts...and look to pimp beers from the herculean partier's that will abound. We will grace the course with our presence and enjoy the frivolity of our efforts!

Aw, jeez, Jason. I am really gonna miss Marine Corp Hill. Let's see: Never cleaned it (came close one time in Nov of 07!!!), broke my chain on it in Jan 08 (had to freewheel the rest of the way in -- that was lucky). Bummer.

La Whatta? That doesn't sound like any fun at all, Mario. Good luck trying to have fun down there in the jungle...

We'll miss you!

I wanna print this exact quote on a t-shirt! I would wear it loudly and proudly!

As for me and the kid, we will be there. I need to get a new bike for Willie (damn kids... always growing), so we need to sort that out first, but I am working on that soon. My back is killing me these days (haven't ridden in over a week now! -- Carlton has guided me toward some good materials on back pain), but I hope to be prepped and ready to roll come the morning of November 15th...

See You There! TEMECULA ROCKS!
