Not sure. I could be wrong.I looked at the site and just assumed without points, no racing.

Julia12 will be racing. I'll out of town on business. If you are there and see my girl...please give her a high five for me.

CORRECTION!!!!

Friday night is a normal Friday night race. It may be crowded, though.

Saturday (only Saturday) is the State Finals. You do not need to qualify to race. You only need to qualify to be eligible to win a state championship - any ABA member can race. It's a triple district points race. Signups and practice are from 10-12, and racing begins shortly after.

Sunday is awards for the state championships, and a double district points race. Signups and practice are from 10:30 to 12:30 and racing begins after that. Sunday is also a race of legends where a lot of old school BMXers who got their start at Orange will be there. Again, racing is open to any ABA members.

I'm sitting in a decent position heading into the finals, and so it will really be up to whoever wins the final. I'm going to have some serious competition!

Good luck to you Lee

slightly off topic, whose coming friday for doing whatever? I might just bring my reign and jump off stuff with no fear of casing . I'll also feel it less if I get cut off by groms (7" front and back should absorb the average 5 year old right? ) I love the little guys, but they DO cut people off a bit too much

Yeah, I rode dino's MKIII there once. no speed at all, but you can just jump off everything without penalty. that makes it tons of fun

I'm gonna kill myself on that 20" one of these days anyway if I keep riding it on the track. best stop while I'm ahead.

Thank you!

Oh, and it must be at least a little bit embarrassing that those little guys got in front of you to be able to cut you off. Also, who ever is in front has the right of way, so as far as racing rules go, suck it up! They have every right to pick the lane they want to be in! haha (the first 30 feet and the last straight are an exception). If you get out front of the kids in practice, the only concern is passing the kids who ran in the previous gate.

Yeah Lee, I know. I'm very nice to the little guys and respect their position. In my defense, some of those kids are really fast (and god knows they have more energy than me). Like everyone, though, it gets a little old when many rush up, cut you off, then get on the brakes and slow down
