Does anyone know if the full race results were posted anywhere?

Only the top three in each category were mentioned after the race and I didn't see results posted anywhere during the venue so I'm hoping that the full results get posted somewhere.

Hey Shleppy;

WS is awesome when it comes to putting on the races but a little slow getting results up so I wouldn't expect anything until the end of the week or later. It took 2+ weeks for them to get the VQ/CC results posted. In their defense though, it's an all voulanteer crew so they do what they can when they can.

Yes, everyone that worked the event was a volunteer. My wife was in charge of timing, and since this was her first event, she wanted to make sure that everything was correct before it was submitted.

Jesse, do not feel bad at all bro, if anyone should feel bad it is the guy who SANDBAGGED and turned in a 40 minute lap to "win" the division, gimmie a break, Novice my ass!

I havent checked the results, I know I got my ass handed to me, but that wasn't the point, the point was that I'm not a Novice rider so I sacked up and raced Intermediate....in my opinion anyone who turned in a lap inbetween the 40-45 minute range isn't a novice rider and should feel like a complete clown for entering that division.

Dude I agree, my brother in-law (the guy right in front of me) rode 46 minutes for his first race and probably is 10th actual ride. Too bad he couldn't have placed . It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I finished and didn't kill myself in the process. I will continue to work at it and try again soon.

Believe me....I agree. We figured the novices would take near 1hr to do the course. If you are running times 20 mins faster than that.....sack up and race where you should be racing.

Hey, thought some might get a kick out of this...
this is my heart info for my 2 laps....
it's pretty steady at 165 until at the end of the 2nd lap while trying to drop the pack, I peaked at 202! I should have died!

Much like the race itself, thought I'd come in toward the back of the pack with my comments.

Had a total blast. Went in with no idea what to expect and came out all psyched for the next one. Too cool. Didn't exactly burn up the track, but am happy with my results. I definitely chose the right class, and was stoked to see the STR riders all coming in in close order. Nicely done, all.

Course was great, and the support was top-notch. All the staff were friendly and encouraging and the execution couldn't have been better. Despite some pre race confusion on this and that, it all came together just fine in the end. Ah, the beauty of the grass roots organization! Props to the Warrior's Society, they delivered big time

Looking forward to the Fall race. Hopefully we'll get an even bigger STR turnout then.

You passed me on the last climb 2nd lap. Nice to know you had to max out to do it.

Padre I was on an Orange Blur. I cant remember if I had to pass you first, but I was leading you and one other guy thru that last, short singletrack climb. Once we got to the fireroad you got around. I was really pushing hard but couldn't quite hang with you. Good Racing!

Gaddam Kipp (sandbagger) smoked me on the fireroad climb leading up to the big downhill. He was all casual trying to get a conversation going or something. Sorry Kipp i couldnt really chat right then.

Ahh yes!
I had my focus on the guy on the yellow 29er. When I passed him and we dumped out on the fireroad...I just tried to keep standing like I had been through the s-track. It worked...but my HR just about went through the roof!

I know I'm echoing a lot of other folks, but I just wanted to say that it was a great event. This is my first shorter type of race and I was pretty anxious about it. I did the Vision Quest as my first race....a bit silly, yes....but I finished it. That was more of a "see if I can do it" ride.

This I knew would be totally different - and it was, but in a fun way. After the first climb, the spacing became a lot better. If I could have changed anything, I would have gone out harder. Everyone had me so freaked out about not going out too fast that I held back. By the second lap, I was really doing some damage. Lap times at 40:30 and 41:20 or so...pretty consistent and not much drop off. With a short race like that, my lesson learned is to hammer it like your name is Matt or Dave.

Thanks Warriors. Good stuff. I'm already signed up for 24hrs. I'm going to do the whole Warriors circuit this year.
