Default 2 Weeks

Alright everone, I'm sure you have all heard this plenty of times already. So on July 14th I will be going on my cruise, so that gives me about 2 more weeks to get into a bit better shape. What can I do to drop those extra lbs and to tighten up my body?

And, alot of people think ONLY by riding more and excercising more they will drop alot of weight. But thats not true to a certain extent, Dieting is also key

My advice: dont be lazy or greedy. But you left it a bit late. Not much noticeable difference in 2weeks.

doood. wish you the best, but my bet for every 1 lbs you lose ahead of cruise you will put back on 3x on the boat. while i have only been on one it was 24/7 food and drink...even when we got to port and tore it up riding/hiking it was ugly. good luck and enjoy

Nothing's gonna happen in 2 weeks unless you cut off a limb.

True what folks are saying, two weeks is not alot of time. Should have started 12 weeks ago. Oh well.

That said, this can't hurt.....

--Exercise alot (twice a day for at least one hour each workout if you can)
--Eat low carb - low fat but don't starve yourself as that will slow your metabolism
--No alcohol - double bonus...lose weight and you'll have to buy fewer drinks on the cruise since your tolerance will be down

--and the biggie -- DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITHIN THREE HOURS OF GOING TO BED.

Have fun - cruises are a blast!

Where ya going?

I am a HUGE fan of Coach Dos. His endorsement of a product or service lends credibility so far as I'm concerned. Alywn is no fool either if you're at all familiar with the S&C community.

Even if you became a gym rat for the next two weeks, the results would be minimal. Your best bet would be to drop as much fat and water weight as possible between now and then. Think thin skin. Start fasting now, pure liquid diet.

Maybe hit the tanning bed - everyone always looks better when they're tan.

I know this is pretty simplistic, but here goes.
A pound of fat is 3500 calories. Don't diet but instead each 3-5 small meats throughout the day. It's all about burning more calories than you take in.
The thing about not eating 3-4 hours before going to bed is great advice.

When I was dieting and losing all my extra lbs, I think the most I ever did in a 2 week stretch was a bit over 6 lbs. Of course, I had about 30-40 lbs to lose and it was easier for me then. If you don't have much to lose and just want to tone and tighten, you're not going to be able to do much in 2 weeks.
