Just listen to your body. You will know if your body is telling you to rest...you will be too sore/tired to ride. Until you feel that your body is telling you to rest more...ride as much as you want!

Yes, the foam roller is a big part of eliminating pain, soreness and getting loose. It can be painful but that just means your muscles are knotted up and need the massage. I try to close out each ride/workout with 30 minutes of foam roller and stretching as soon as I get home.
