You turkeys are fast. I turned a 1:02, and a 1:04 clockwise laps on a team in November and pretty much was destroyed after. Back locked up etc. Much happier going solo and cruisin' all day. See you guys out there in a few weeks. Say hi as you're whizzing by.

I checked my November times. That was a tougher course for me with all those extreme ups. I did a :59, then 1:02, then 1:05.

We had this guy on our team that just starting mounting biking a little while ago, used to be a runner and he is an animal. :52's and :53's.

Going up the ridge line? I think this course is faster.

FWIW, not going race pace, but just riding last October that course took me 1:10. I think at night, so maybe I was going faster

We'll see what happens. I may be riding with you!

Are you interested in riding with us?
Nah, only because I don't want to be held responsible for holding back a team if I screw up. I'm just running solo for fun, not for place.

If you get in a crunch next week and still haven't found someone, send me a message. I have a good fitness and skill base, but I have NOT been training so be aware I might end up being the weakest link in the chain...but I will give it my damnedest.

I'll let you know L8. I have a couple leads on riders. Just to clear things up we are kind half way in between just being laid back "lets go have fun" riders and semi serious "lets try to win" riders. We've decided to pursue the "lets try to win thing a bit more" but I hate coming across all snobby and picky about who we choose.

It would actually be fun to get about 8 people and just run two teams, the people that wanna have fun and the more serious group. Of course that's twice the work setting it all up but maybe in November.
