Default FRS : Anybody Tried this Stuff Yet?

Anybody tried this yet?

http://frs17.healthyenergy.com/

They are giving, pushing it all over the web (Yahoo home page e.g.) and are giving samples away for free....well for your address etc, and even promise not to spam you (hmmmmm heard that one before)

But free and new etc...

A friend gave me a few pieces but I have yet to try it.

Any thoughts / opinions?

I tried the juice at the MS Ride a few years back. It tasted good, but in all honesty, a good recovery drink doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Hell, I know people who drink HFCS-free chocolate milk for recovery.

My advice is to find something within your budget that agrees with your stomach.

Steve, i just got the free trial thing and not sure if it works but it tastes good
The orange mix ins taste like Tang
the chews are pretty yummy too
havent tried the concentrate yet
if you order, the Berry is the best so far
Also, not sure if it works on me (ill find out during the bike marathoin this thursday/friday) but one chew was enough to male my brother bounce off the walls for about 4 hours with no bonk at the end
he just returned to playing xbox360

also, the *free trial is not free
you pay 6.95 shipping via credit card, and it enrolls you onto their automatic pay per month thing. make sure as soon as you get the free package to call and have them cancel the card so they dont charge you 70 dollars per month

Here's the fine print-

You pay only for shipping and handling and have no obligation to buy anything as long as you call to cancel before the end of the 14 day trial period. If you do not call us at 1 888 377-7587 to cancel within 14 days of receiving your free trial you will be automatically enrolled in the FRS Healthy Energy System Club. As a Club member you will be sent a one month supply, which includes two servings of FRS per day, every month and will be charged the highly discounted rate of $64.95- that’s a 58% discount off of the price of buying a month’s supply of canned FRS in the store and shipping is free. You also get a 10% discount and free shipping on all FRS purchases at www.frs.com. As a Club member you’re free to cancel at any time at least one full business day before shipment with no penalty and you’re also free to change the products, flavors, and timing of your orders. Changing your order may change the monthly cost.

I have... unfortunately I would later find out that I am allergic to it. Nothing too serious, just some mild hives. As side from that, I though it tasted ok, just wish I wasn't allergic to it.

i would have to say, from my experience, chug it as fast as possible. It's easier that way. I didn't notice any difference with anything else, but it did taste kinda crummy to me

Oh, my bad. The only times I have drank it was in recovery situations. In that case, please disregard my entire post.

I love this stuff. To my surprise I found the cans at the 99 Cent store! They had the low cal orange and the lemon lime. I went to Henry's afterwards and found the cans there for over $2!!
