So I jumped on the scale this morning for the first time in a few weeks. To my delight I'm down to 200lbs!
Just needed the attention on me because of that ![]()

thats great news...... I myself lost 40 pounds in 2 months.......all I did was STOP eating fast food, NO sodas, ride 2x a week, worked out 3x a week (1hr), ate 5x a day and drank lots of water.

Kept my meal size down and tried to focus more on fruits and vegetables. I'm still eating the same junk at times like pasta, beer, and chips and whatnot, but with the increased fiber in the fruits and veggies and smaller meals help my metabolism keep up.
As far as working out, I ride when I can but it is usually only once or twice a week. At work I do 25 pushups when I get there and then anytime we get done with a call. This usually averages to about 3-5 sets varying from regular, incline, decline, wide and then regular with eat set. My ab exercise is even easier to work into my daily schedule. Throughout the day flex your abs in a way that you are pulling your stomach to your back. Just anytime you think about your abs or stomach, pull your stomach into your back (a little hard after a meal ). You can stand with your abs flexed and do a twist for 20 reps that also makes a bit of a difference.

Still down the 12 el bees i dropped in the weight-loss challenge. Goal is to lose 7 more my mid-July and hit 175, which would be the lightest i've been in 10 years. Breaking through the plateau is always tough, though.

That's awesome FatWhat - especially being able to have your junk foods once in a while and still stay on track. Pushups and other bodyweight exercises totally rock.
I've been doing Turbulence Training and there is a lot of that kind of stuff. I've been losing about a pound a week and down to 11.9% bodyfat! Sorry, this thread is about you, not me. I just got excited for both of us ![]()

Congratulations! Keep up the great work and be sure to gloat until you can't gloat no more.
I checked my weight yesterday and was up to 148.5. I gained 3 pounds last week; not too shabby. Then again... I had to visit my dr. today and the scale showed me at 160. Could my work clothes and jacket add 11 pounds? No freaking way I gained that much in one week. What's more accurate, roommate's digital or doctor's sliding scale? |
