Sorry, this thread is about you, not me. I just got excited for both of us

2 minute recovery

I've read a lot of people are using the Sprint 8 workout with awesome results.

congrats on the weight loss.

I too in the weight loss programs, i started my weight lost after so many years of putting off and having my wisdom taken out. I finally had it all taken out and done for. That was back in October of last year. Well, you figured, since i can't eat anything but soft stuff, i stuck with yogurt in the morning, soft fruits for lunch, and soft food for dinner, after a few weeks, i lost alot, prior to having it done, i weight 260lbs...Changed my diet and started excercising and i'm down to 225lbs. Now that I got used to working out 6 days aweek after work, I am hoping to get to 180lbs unless i grew muscles, while riding and working out.

Again. Congrats on the weight loss and it looks like you have a great dietary plan to keep up your food source energy and your metabolism with your food intake.

Turbulence Training was created by this guy named Craig Ballantyne. He writes for Men's Health, Oxygen, and some other fitness mags.

Basically, the workouts consist of major muscle group supersets followed by interval training 3 days per week. You do a lot of bodyweight work, various squats and presses, and core work.

On your "off" days, you just need at least 30 mins of activity -- cardio, bodyweight circuits, mtbing, whatever. As long as it doesn't impair your recovery, it's fine.

I like it so much because you are in and out of the gym in less than an hour, but you get such an efficient workout that you don't need any more than that. Plus, it comes with progressive workouts. You do each one for 4 weeks, then switch to a new workout. And if you become a member to their forums (3 months free when you buy the ebooks), you get all kinds of free downloads and interviews and articles. It's totally worth it. The basic package is only $39 and if you actually use the system and get your diet on track, you will absolutely not regret spending the money.

Sorry for the essay, but I cannot get over how awesome this program has been for me. Even Jason is surprised at the weight I've lost in the past month. When you're already fairly lean, it's hard to lose that remaining stubborn fat!

The link is in my sig. If you don't want to spend money right away, you can sign up for the free newsletter and get tips emailed to you also. I say just spend the $39!

The program sounds great, but the website is cheezy and annoying with the pop ups and "chat" offers.

I was skeptical at first also because of the website, but I bought the thing anyway, and it's well worth the $!!

I've been wanting to lose 10lbs and am almost down to my target weight of 175. I still eat more fast food than I should and don't eat enough fruits and veggies, but I attribute the loss simply by cutting out my almost daily Starbucks Venti Mocha addiction. 340 calories in a 20 oz cup with no whip cream.

A while back on another thread I was reading how other members promoted drinking coffee black. So I gave it a try and have been drinking black coffee ever since (unless I have to drink the sludge at work, then I'll add a little creamer to make it more palatable) It took some getting used to at first, but my clothes are looser and I have some extra $ as a side benefit since those Venti Mocha's were almost $5 a cup!

Congrats on the weight loss! Soon you will learn there is no magic and no crazy diets needed to lose weight. Eat healthy, smaller portions, more often and exercise 4-5 days per week. Drink plenty of water and get lots of sleep. Follow those basic rules and you will lose weight! Cheers!
