Default Endurance Events in July?

Any good Endurance events in the area in July? Did some searching and really couldn't find any.

Thanks, yeah figured the heat had something to do with it. I was poking around ride424 and nothing jumped out at me.

http://www.borisart.com/e100/html2/50mRelay/index.html

But the 2008 date is July 26th, looks like once you look at the details, the link hasn't been updated since last year.

Our 24 team teamates (Joe who lives in Park City & Ryan in Salt Lake), want Neil to go come out to them and do this 100 mile relay.

We'll see if it even happens, by the looks of their website maybe not

The local stuff is just too darn HOT, even the 12hr Vail Lake in June *may be* a bit steamy.

Cool site Thanks! but didn't really see anything. I don't know if I have enough vacation time to go out of state. Guess I'll just beat myself up on Main Divide in July.

Last July we didn't do too much. El Moro/Laguna coast, Daley Ranch, STR BBQ ride at Aliso, road ride in Oceanside, ITT - Coldwater (BRUTAL), Noble Canyon, and a demo day at Snow Summit.

I got my Demo 7 on the last day of July, and then we went to Mammoth. Rode Snow Summit, SART, Snow Summit, and then did a big suffer fest ride to get to the newbie ride at Tierjas Creek.

So, as you can see... lots of riding not here locally (e.g. in the mountains, or the coast) No racing to speak of I think mostly due to the heat...

There's an XC race at Rim Nordic on 7/27, though.

We've been hearing good things about Northstar also, so I think we may make the sojourn up there.

8-Hours of the Fully Loop.

Actually, it's just a training ride that my racing partner and I are doing, but it'll be endurance pace...45-50 minute laps. Then plenty of ice cold tasty brew afterwards.

This will be my first summer in the area so I'm trying to get a feel for the events. I was doing mostly endurance stuff on the East Coast last year. Acutally, I burned myself out so maybe mixing it up with some short XC stuff will be cool.

Got a link to the Mammoth Event? -Thanks

Hey Kev, I think we threw you a cuvre ball on the Mammoth thing. I don't know of any endurance events that time of year.

Alot of the STR group heads up to Mammoth during the summer. Its a fun change from our hot summer riding here. I wanted to hit Tahoe, too, this year but the tax man is killing me.

Spring Challenge in Idlywylde has a 30 mile option for Saturdays XC Race. I have been thinking of riding the long race since I have never been up there.
