Default Super Fun Super D May 4th Idyllwild

Hi all,

Did you know that Spring Challenge is also hosting a Super Fun Super D course on Sunday, May 4th?
**IDYLLWILD SPRING CHALLENGE**
Sat-XC; Sun-SD, TT
May 3-4…Hurkey Creek Park, Idyllwild, CA
www.idyllwildcycling.com
We invite racers to come stay the weekend and try out our new Super D on Sunday. Our Super D course is what a classical Super D should be with the majority of the course being downhill and a little climbing thrown in here and there. It's 5.5 miles of pure fun!

After the Super D the Idyllwild spring Challenge heads closer to town for our second annual Time Trial. This is a course we believe is a true Time Trial course. It climbs, dives and twists all in a short four miles. An absolute blast! All Time Trial winners will receive a free lunch certificate to our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Casita; it's the perfect way to end a great weekend. Registration is limited to 70 riders only so sign up early! There is no entry fee for the Time Trial; only donations will be accepted. All contributions will go towards maintaining local trails for future use.

Idyllwild Cycling would like to thank all of the groups and volunteers that make this race possible.

I would love to participate in both of those events however, trying to make the trip up for two days simply isn't feasible. Why not run the Super D and/or TT on the same day as the XC race so more of the guys who do the Spring Challenge can participate in both?

Still a separate day from the XC race.

People need time to relax/recover, though.

I cant believe they cancelled the Super D. Did anyone else drive up Sunday morning specifically to race that event?

Yeah, we rode the course too. It was awesome! Unfortunately, we didn't have a ride back to the start, so we had to ride the streets back to the top.

What was the deal with the shuttle truck running up and down the hill all day? We were hoping they would stop and give us a ride. No luck though.

We decided to take who ever was there at the start. we did two shuttle runs. the truck could hold 17 bikes but not that many riders. My BF and his friend who lives in Idy made the racks. It was just a fun ride at that point. Sorry we missed you!
