We are in for 24hrs! Team name is American Idols
(not to win it, but rather race and have some fun with our friends)

Team consits of:
STR's - Shudder
STR's - 1x1Clyde
OUR 2 regular team-mates from Salt Lake, Ryan & Joe
And our most important position is the Volunteer: Tkblazer (who's rocks for doing it BTW).

I'll be cooking and running support as always for the team

Good Luck to everyone that's racing, Maddie and I will cheer for you as you go by

Default Volunteers?

I'll be there racing with my teammate Heidi in the 24 Hour duo category. It's practice for our run at the National title later this year. There's no co-ed category so we'll be racing all the 2-person male teams.

We could use an extra volunteer or two. So if you've ever wanted to pick my brain or see behind the scenes: nutrition, pacing, strategy, etc...
You've got 24 hours this weekend.

PM me if you're interested.

Good luck to all the STR teams!!

8 hr solo.
Since I started mountain biking and learned of the Warrior's Society, I have been getting myself in slightly over my head with races and events. This event continues that tradition. I will be very happy to finish 4 injury free laps.

I did 3 laps on the STR campout and that was rough with almost nobody behind me. Having people of all levels passing me and getting passed by me is going to make it much more difficult.

It's time to expand my comfort zone and see what I'm made of once again.

I'll be wearing my Path Jersey, riding a 69er Leviathan, and camping with my boys in site 66.

Best of luck to everyone.

Jake is 6 (and a half) and David is 2 (and a half).

My father is going to be in charge of them for the entire day while I'm riding. It would be so great if you have kids of compatible age for them to play with. My dad is a very capable dad (he raise ME after all) but any extra entertainment for the boys would be WONDERFUL.

I'll have Maddie who's 6 with me and am going to watch Ashlie(wreckers) daughter she's 12 while Rachel goes out on her FUN 8 hour bike ride. Bring their bikes, scooters and helmets and hopefully they can keep themseves entertained while you all are out riding.

Woohoo! STR's Adrenaline Day Camp for kids

Ashlie will be 12 in May. Sounds like a great age group.

TB, are you staying for the entire 24H?
