So after insertng my foot in mouth and saying we were doing the 24hrs of Temecula instead of Hurkey,The team decided to change things up a little and do Hurkey (plus only 10 people had signed up for Temecula)

We've got our 3 regular team members Neil, Ryan & Joe (both from Salt Lake) and or own STR member Shudder as our 4th. Nam has stepped up to Rock Star status and signed up to be the teams volunteer (Nam you ROCK

)

The Team name is American Idols

Hope to see others out there, Who's racing and what?

Can't wait for next weekend's camping trip to pre-ride the course and see what I'm in for. I hear its a great course.

8 hours solo here...doing back to back 8 hour solo weekends with the Coolest 24 on May 3rd.

Goin 24 solo in the fall!! Yeah baby!

yeah luke, i did a 2 man 24 last sept, 12hr solo at vail, so i figured this is the next step. i hope i survive.

i think you will do great in the 8 hour. good luck!!

Anyone know of a team looking for a 5-person team looking for their token female? I may be interested. Not sure I'm ready for 8 hr solo yet.

My friend Ryan is on a 4 person team and looking for another person. Let me know if you're interested. They're doing it for fun not really going for position or anything. I might drop in and do a lap for them myself.

Too close to Fruita trip which will cost $$. Plus I need my rib to heal for that trip. Also, I'll be doing the Traverse in May so I don't want to burnout. I hope to be doing Hurkey again with a 5 man team in Sept. Good luck to all of you who are racing. If I'm not doing anything, I may come up to cheer you all on.
