Maybe it's in the paperwork somewhere, but is there a non-911 number to call in case of an incident or situation out on the course? Granted, there's no cell coverage in many areas, but still...

You are correct....there is really no celll phone reception up on the Main Divide or Maple Springs or Santiago Peak or Holy Jim.

There will be several motorcycles running support along each section of the course. If something happens, flag one of them down and they will be able to get help or call on the radio.

I'm hoping we are there around 5. Gives us time to get everything together and get our spots.

Default Drop Bags for Aid Stations

I spoke with the person that is taking the bags out to Aid Station # 1 and he mentioned he is going to do his best to line the bags up along the street...and alphabetical by last name....there will be support personnel there to help people find their bags as well.

If you have never done the event before and are worried about communications out in the Forest...don't be worried..we have over 50 people out patroling in vehicles, motorcycles and on bikes to make sure everyone is doing ok...and we have HAM operators communicating from over 10 locations so we know where you are at any given point....not to mention we have "sweep" riders following that last person out there all the way to the finish!

FYI: Make sure your bags are marked with Aid station # 1 or #2 so they get taken to the correct location!

See you all Saturday morning!!!

I dont even know where to park. I will probably leave my house at like 3:30 unless I go stay with my grandpa....he lives maybe 20 minutes from there.

Oh yeah and I will probably be there around 4:45
