Default Forming a team for 12 hrs of Temecula 08 season

I'm looking for form a 3 person or larger team for the 3 races of 12 hrs of Temecula in the 08 year.
I was picked up by a team for the November race and I had a blast. We finished 5th in the 3 man class but might have been able to get 3rd if I had shaved some time off each of my laps (I did four laps at about 1:17 each) I would like to get my time down to 1:00 laps for this coming season.

Anyways, I’m down here in San Diego (La Mesa Specifically) and I'd like to form a 3 or more person team to do all 3 races.

No racing experience is necessary, however, you would need to be driven and want to compete. I'd like men or women close to San Diego so we could do some group rides together and get to know each other.

As always we aren't getting paid for this and it is just for fun, I just happen to have more fun when I'm really competing.

Pm me or reply here if you’re interested.

Would love to, but unfortunately some of the race dates conflict with other races I'm doing.

Good luck finding a team and in the races next year!

Open or coed.

Only the solos are classified as Beginner, Sport, Expert...

So beginner teams actually race against pro teams.

So just to clarify--you are looking for people that are in it to place high with an emphasis on a high place finish?

If you want to be DFL, I'm your man!

I'm thinking about trying a solo in a year or so just to say I did it.

Interested...
My team took 2nd in the 5 man open on the 17th.
My lap times averaged 1:03 but stepping up my training could realize sub 1hr times.

I'm looking for people who want to compete. The open classes are tricky in that you are competing against the pros and I saw what team Cytomax KHS does... They are machines and as long as they compete they will probably win 1st.

I am looking for a few people who want to compete and go out there and give it his or her all. I know that there are riders of all riding levels out there and so it kind of makes it hard to get everyone on the same page. I'm not the kind of guy who will be pissed off if you have slow laps or can't do any more after riding a few laps.

I'm not the fastest rider in the world (as my lap times show) however I will go out on race day and put it all out on the table, giving it my all. That’s all I would ask from anyone on the team.

Default Further Clarification

As for the kind of commitment I'm looking for:

Being that I want to compete in the entire series the team needs to ride in all 3 races that are on:

January 26th
June 14th
November 15th

I know that its difficult to plan that far in the future so I know you can't say for sure that you will make all three, but I would like to know that you will do your best to make it to all three and give me ample notice if you can't.

The cost will be split up evenly between the team members (unless someone finds a sponsor somehow) so for a:
3 member team: $66.67 each person
4 member team: $62.50 each person
5 member team: $60.00 each person

I think the categories have been posted. All the 3 or more member teams are open. So they can be coed or not, no age limitation, and no skill level / racing level limit. We will be racing against, and be in awe of, the experts rocking out the fast times.

I hope this clears some of the questions up.

Let me know

I'll let you know.

When are you going to decide who you want on the team? Maybe even do a ride with a few of the interested souls to see how things go.

1-26 isn't really that far away to build a team and get some rides in together. You need everything worked out before the end of the year or maybe even sooner.

Brandon you should race sport at least. You won't get any faster destroying the beginners anymore.

This is true. The easiest way to get faster is to race guys faster than you...

And aside from that, it's not really fair to those who are really beginners.
