I was into seeing Gordon run 1st in class and 8th overall at the last years Dakar. Built right in Anaheim, CA by local talant with out the HUGE budget and they still did very well.

Here's a clip of Robbie giving a nice SCORE love tap.
Going for 1st overall this year!!

When I was younger I used to love watching Australian Rules Football on ESPN, before they owned the rights to every other sporting event. I also really enjoy Highland Games, I think my Scottish ancestors must have been really bored to invent some of those games but there fun to watch, here are some videos if you've never seen it (http://www.highlandgames.net/videos.html).

Dakar is bad-ass. Our quads finished 1,2,3 last year. And I thought my ass was sore after Counting Coup.

Yep, my productivity plunges each January as I follow the Dakar. That is an amazing race. Gotta give the French credit, they do epic sporting events very well.

I can't seem to get enough of it. I'll watch a soccer match broadcast in spanish before I'll watch an NFL game.

Before I got satellite TV (which I got because of this), I was driving 12 miles to the Saugus Cafe at 2 am to watch a World Cup match on a weeknight. DVR rules!

I have certain teams I enjoy watching, but I'm not beholden to any specific team. I just want to watch a well played match.

My dream european vacation would be to watch Arsenal @ Man U, Celtic vs. Rangers, PSV @ Ajax, Real Madrid @ Barcelona, Italy vs. France anywhere and if I had the guts, Olympiakos @ Galatasaray. Then stop over in SA to check out Boca Juniors/River Plate and top it off going to Rio to watch Brazil host Argentina on the way home.

I also coach a U19 boys team.

I've seen Rangers vs. Celt at Ibrox. Unbelievable!

I am obsessed with hockey and the NHL. It just seems like a foreign sport. I know nobody that is into hockey like I am. Hockey is the "punk rock" of sports.

I watched a lot of rugby a while back. Those are some tough bad ass muthers that play that. The fans of said sports are insane too!

It's usually hard to get people into hockey unless they grew up with it. If you can get someone to a game and they see the speed and the plays developing it will help. Hopefully HD will help grow the sport - Can't wait to get the hockey package on HD so I can start enjoying the games even more!

What team do you coach?
I have been coaching for the Irvine Strikers for the last 11 seasons.
Right now, I'm watching La Liga on GOL TV.

Cool to see another former soccer player that is into mountain biking.
I played 5 seasons of professional soccer in Spain's minor leagues. I came to the States in the early 90s and spent 4 seasons (1994 to 1997) with the Anaheim Splash of the now defunct Continental Indoor Soccer League.
I still miss playing the game a lot, but riding bikes made my retirement much easier than I thought.

These kids are pretty dang good and they are hitting. The coaches we have for those kids and high school teams are top notch. You can check out more info at http://www.backbayrfc.com/

You know I have been playing rugby for about 14 to 15 years and now my body is pretty beat up. I have had internal bleeding, fractured eye socket, two seperated shoulders and just everyday bumps and bruises. Last year when I played it was hard for me to get out of bed and I am only 34. The thing I got out of Rugby that overshodows everything else is the brotherhood and the never quit mindset. I would say rugby and wrestling has made me a metally stronger mountain biker and more importantly just on everyday life challenges. I wrestled when I was in grade school all the way into Junior collage and when I started playing rugby I was just so happy to do a sport where I wasn't watching my weight. I know if you did get him started in it right now he will properly be a stud once he gets into high school. Right now rugby is the fastest growing club sport in collage and I would not be surprised to see the NCAA make it a legit varsity sport and give out scholorships. I know right now Cal Berkley gives out scholorships but those guys are 10 time Div 1 collage champs. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I will be playing my last games this year so check it out and I will tell you when the kids clinics are.

Auzzie rules are so brutual but I love watching it. It's basically all about hurting the other man on the pitch.

Great game. Caught most of the matches this weekend. I think what really blew me away were ads all over the stadium attempting to downplay racism. A friend of mine who is from France told me that racism is a huge problem in the Futbol community! He basically said if fans here in the U.S. said something racist they would either get their azz handed to them or get escorted out. In Europe, he mentioned that if fans do that, the rest of the fans will start chanting that same racial slur. WTF kinda shiznit is that??
