Just picked up a case of 22's and they are chilling nicely. I'll bring a couple to Noble tomorrow.

I thought it was just 'ok.' I was at Stone yesterday and I talked to the shop guys who said XI tastes different and better on tap... and then I had another pint of Ruination and bought a Ruination IPA bike jersey.

I just finished the last of 4 11th aniverisary 22's, and I have to aggree. It's ok. For an IPA, I don't think it was hoppy enough. It seemed a little to malty to me. I'd rather have Ruination or even the standard IPA. Or, the smoked porter. The 11th tasted like an attempted combination IPA/Porter to me.

yeah. Funny that I originally wrote this but edited it out of my post....

IMHO, XI is a big beer that doesn't seem to know what style it is and takes a lot of work to drink. I'd prefer a bit more hops or something to take the edge off the alc. and round it out. Apples and oranges I know, but an Avery Reverend at 10% seems more drinkable than the XI.

hi times still have any?

I'm on my way down after work today for beer anyways, but a stone 11th or two would add nicely to the beer pile.
