Default What Drinks Can You Not Stand?

Another drink related thread . . .

What are the drinks/beers you just can't stand? For me it's Malibu Rum. Went crazy with it at the post-prom party and was tasting it every time I puked the next morning. Just the very smell of it makes me queezy.

What beverage can you not stand?

Gin. Similar experience as George. It tastes like rotting celery to me.

Jager is nasty. So is Absynthe.

Tequila. Attended a "Tequila Party" back in 1979 where we went through several cases of the stuff. I was immobile for 24 hours and sick for 2 days. Even to this day, just the smell of that stuff and I'm good for an instant flashback.

Jim Beam + Red Man chewing tobbaco at the tender age of 14 = a profound distaste for bourbon ... well, except for the occasional Maker's Mark.

Gin and fizzy yellow beer... especially if it needs a lime to taste like anything.

Ahhhhh.........noobies, I remember those days.
Not to worry George, this is just a phase we all need to go through. In a few years when you run out of your favorite beverage at a party, you'll hit the malibu again, and when the malibu's dust, you'll drink whatever else is laying around. Remember, always check the pantry for cooking sherry, it's not as tasty as cough syrup, but it builds character, and when you can drink a bottle of cooking sherry you'll be chalk full of character. Be patient and enjoy the process.

Jager and Corona.

Not a fan of the black licorice stuff and Corona is way to sweet to be a beer.
