Ouzo (sp?)--you're supposed to shoot it, not savor it, ya know?

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks Ouzo is disgusting! Ugh...
Really anything that tastes like black licorice is just flat awful to me; just can't stand that taste... Hmm, what else - most any sugary/syrupy shot, jager(tastes like a cross between raisin-y molasses and cough syrup), chili beer (any chili beer - this should not even be a legitimate style!) the usual bud/miller/coors/molson/fosters/tecate/corona - blech! Oh, and for an instant stomach retch, a boilermaker! Used to go drink at Rock Bottom over at the Irvine Spactrum when it opened and I was 19 and they never once looked at my ID for 3 years! My so-called friends ordered my one of these, which was a double shot of Absolut dropped into the brewery's Regatta Red - sort of an Irish Car Bomb from hell. I have never had another drink make me as instantly sick as that one did - spent the subsequent 45 minutes getting to know the men's room porcelain very well, curled up fetal on the cool tile. Why that one hit me so hard I have no idea - I'e had much more alcohol in a sitting without that happening. Ugh. Thinking about it is making my stomach turn.

Ever heard of a Bull Sweat from Bull's Tavern in SLO? Somewhat of a 21st bday legend. Some of the ingredients I've heard are Wild Turkey, 151, Worcester sauce, Tabasco sauce, and...... sometimes the bar rag is rung out in it. Thankfully I was 22 when I moved to SLO and didn't have to try that one.
