Default When spell check isn't enough

I had to post this because I couldn't believe what I was reading. This is from our Verizon business rep, she is new and hasn't been doing a good job. After this e-mail I realize what an space case I'm dealing with. Apparently she missed her calling as a medical doctor. Mom and dad must be so proud!

"What I can do is issue a 50.00 credit on this mobile number for the incontinence.

Thank you for all your patients."

I miss my old rep, he was a mountain biker and didn't suffer from incontinence!

Well, it's sad to say their writing skills are as good as their math skills.

Tuesday night, my kid's scoutmaster was showing the boys how to erect a temporary shelter.
He was teaching them how to make the rope 'taunt'.

Back in the car, I had some 'splaining to do.

LOL that's awesome. And if your Verizon account did cause actual incontinence, I don't think $50 would be a sufficient settlement However, you would be a patient though

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's appropriate for a scoutmaster to show young boys how to erect anything...

Haven't there been enough problems with scoutmasters in the past?

Oh yeah...I guess there's more than a literacy problem in the U.S. I could not stop laughing at the hilarity of that call.

Do you know when you drop a chain and you try to pedal? Nothing happens, right?

George Vaccaro ask the first rep some questions and there was a silent pause by that CSR. I think he was trying to process the information and it was just like a dropped chain...nothing was happening. I can just imagine the look of anguish on the CSR's face as he was trying to comprehend the calculations...

This was classic...thanks Lety!!

This lady is supposed to be our BUSINESS account rep. I thought they had a bit more knowledge and education than just the regular Joe working at the retail shop. My boss was so frustrated with her and then we get that e-mail! I couldn't believe what I was reading. I don't know why it bothered me so much.

i think it's the same for all the acct reps for all the carriers...they're usually good looking people that rely on that to sell product in this case phones...intelligence is secondary.

OMFG!!!!

That was the most painful thing I have ever listened to.
The best part was when she said " It's a difference of opinion". LMAO
Was there ever a resolution to this?

You should see the inexcusable grammatical, spelling and structural errors--not to mention jaw-dropping lapses in logic--that so-called professional journalists send my way on a regular basis. Not that i'm really complaining since, as a copy editor, this means job security for me.

That is so weird! Our AT&T rep does the same exact thing. I thought it was her when I first read this.
