The only thing worse than getting swept by Boston.............. would be to actually live there

I hear that!

My wife is pissed! First the Phillys (she is from there) and now the Angels. Next the Yankees. I think it's going to be Colorado's year.

That would be a great story if they won

I also like the D-Backs. They are a young team and they are calling them the Baby Backs

Who knows. Strange year so far that's for sure.

The Angels still have a couple pieces missing from the puzzle. First priority should be another power hitter or two to be able to make teams pay the way the Angels did for pitching around Ortiz.

They also could use some fine tuning of the pitching staff.

The Angels have built up a fine team, but they were not going to win without some dumb luck and it didn't happen.

Congrats to Boston, they were the better team. They can really manufacture some runs and you'd better be able to keep pace (especially at Fenway) or you get run over.

Anyway, I hope Moreno, Stoneman and Scioscia can ge tit together in the off season and get this built up right and have a good run next year. They're close and it could be done.

Lol.... No beat down, I've said all I need to .

Boston's an awesome city though(even if you hate the sox!). Shoot me a PM if you ever want the tour ...in 2008 of course.

I could only watch a few innings. Just too disgusting to watch. I know we got beat by a better team, but I can't stand watching the sox bandwagoners celebrate at the BigA.
The Angels really do need to get some more pop into that lineup. We'll see what Moreno\Stoneman can do. Though I have little faith in Stoneman at this point...

Possibly! But they'll be laughing harder at me, since my GF will have me in a full face from now on .

Seriously though, there's sick riding all over New England, and Boston is one of the coolest cities (Second only to San Fran, in my book) in the US. If anyone is ever in town, I'll gladly give out the official trail and/or bar tour.

I will be out their for St. Patricks day, shoot you a PM when I get the details when I am going to be their. I agree that their are lots of bandwagon Sox fan, but I ma cool with that. Those bandwagon Sox fans were proberly bandwagon Angel fans when they won the world series in 02. This is one of the reasons why the majority of people here in OC are bandwagon fans. Shoot just take the ducks for example last year they won the cup now thats like the "hip" thing to be a ducks fan. I remember back in the day the Ducks could not give tickets away at 7/11. This is why Bostonians are the best fans, like Chicago, Greenbay, and even sad to say NY. In Boston the biggest teams are the Redsox and the Bruins, even bigger than the Celtics in their dynasty. The people their are not fake if they like you they will open their home to you and let you drink their last beer. If they don't like you they will tell you to F off in your face then proceed to pimp slap you. I am not putting down the life and people of OC and So Cal. The weather here is the best and in my profession the is one the best place for my work. Would you agree Evil Chocula?

Totally . I've found people in NYC/Boston to be way freindlier than in So Cal, which is strange. Not putting down So Cal, it's just different.

Could it be your wicked accent? Your eastern 'tude towards the best coast?
People in SoCal are friendly - with locals......

There are way better sports towns than LA and OC but for not the reasons you listed.

First is the weather. There are so many other things to do
Next is the transplants. Folks that move to Cal from out of state and bring their team allegiance with them. For example on my street there are families from KY, NY, MA, MD, PA,UT, FL, and TX.

And there are some from CA but not OC or LA

You can have Cel'dicks etc I will take the weather
