So I know we have some baseball fans here with all the prior smack talk Red Sux. v Yankees v. Faux LA Angels v. Doyers, etc.

Maybe it's time for everyone to throw in some cabbage (Jackson?), name your team you pick to go all the way (or farthest) and team (Yankees) that goes deep, deep, deep (Yankees) takes the pot (err, umm Yankees)

So what you say. Oh, what, the Boys in Blue are playying golf now. So sorry to hear it. You guys/gals can still plck a team, put us some greenies and give me all your money peeps!

BTW- if for some chance Arod goes soft again and the Yankess do not win the series or at least go the farthest in playoff. this post will self destruct j/k thoughts on this or anything else to fule the fire, keep ut interesting AND friendly.

Halo's will win the series again ! it's to bad we got stuck with the bosox's 1st round, in my opinon that's the only team that might give us trouble, but i'm not worried got my boy big jon starting tomorow and he's ready to kick some bosox ass ! 2nd round we will probally face the yanks , please we own them ! who ever comes out of the national league has nothing on any of the american teams in the playoffs. go HALO'S !

j/k. I'm down for $20 in. Bet you guess my $$$ is on the bombers. i say pool all the money and winner(s) split pot. guess only rule has to be if no one takes series and two teams drop in same round. mybe least losses, most runs scored, etc. to tie break????

Trying to keep it simple this is the deal.

If anyone want in these are the "rules"

• Buy in $20, err i mean credits, right
• Following this post [#8] please post up in this thread the team that you feel will win it all (world series). all posts must be time date before start of any playoff games that start today! (i think ~3pm...you need to confirm)
• Please be advised any posts after this that reference a team will be considered an entry
• for now please just hold onto your cabbage...we'll play on honor system.
• If you do not win, please pay up and do not put the winner in role of trying to collect
• The team that goes the fartherest (i.e. wins) as measured in series (divisional, ALCS, NLCS, WS) is considered the winner.
• If two or more particpants pick the same team and that team is the winner they will be co-winners and split the pool
• If no ones team wins the WS the tie breaker will be based on win count for the teams that went deepest in playoffs for the he most recent series played
• (i.e. both teams lose in CS one gets 2 wins in that series one gets one, the team with 2 wins, wins it.
• If a tie after that will be based on total wins in all playoff series and then total runs scores. if still tied, no one wins and pool entry fees are used to purchase beers among all pool participated after a group ride.
• Note side bets (anyone want to see Craig were a pretty little Yankees "cheerleader uni on the STR b-day ride) and smack talk are encouranged

For the record I will enter the pool with my $20 entry on the Yankees to raise another WS trophy!!!.
