Any fellow mtber's that make their own beer also? Just curious. I have been brewing for a few months now and am looking for insight on how other people brew...

Well, a good place to start looking is www.morebeer.com. They have starter kits starting around $200+. I actually recomend just buying a turkey fryer setup for $50 which includes your boil kettle and propane burner setup which allows you to brew outside instead of the kitchen (which can be messy due to boilovers). You will need to buy a plastic fermentation bucket, bottling bucket (another plastic bucket for transferring your beer from fermentation prior to bottling), sanitizer, cleaner, capper, empty clean beer bottles (non-twist off), and a few other things. It is approx. $200 to get going. From there on, you can make 5 gallon batches for around $30 cost. Sound cool?

As a beer enthusiast I'd like to volunteer my services to provide you with some feedback on your beer after sampling a few bottles.

Check out the homebrew forum at http://beeradvocate.com/. You have to register to view the forum, but it's free. Lots of great advice from seasoned homebrewers.

I've been known to homebrew on occasion.

I was a whole grain brewer for many years: infusion, decoction, ales & lagers, the whole shebang. I still know more about beer chemistry than is probably healthy for me...
