Bret reminded me it was about time to let everyone know about this event that's been in the works a bit. This will be the 5th year that I along with Team Crash

(http://www.biketofinishms.com/teamcrash) participate in the MS150 to help find a cure and help for those with Multiple Sclerosis. It's something that has been close to me since 1991 when a lovely (note sarcasm) doctor told me that I was now part of a minority handicapped group of those with MS. Phooey to him! 16+ years later and I ride stronger, more often and have had one hell of a life and plan on continuing that. But....others have not been as lucky as myself. I have a close friend....has probs walking and recently, a family member was recommended to start taking the same MS drug I take (once a week injections...fun, eh?). I ride for many who can't. This is one of those times when I put the mtn bike away for a weekend and hit the road to San Diego. With that said...Beachwood BBQ and the Long Beach Hop Heads (http://longbeachhopheads.com/) will be having a beer tasting/fundraising event this Thursday @ Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach (http://beachwoodbbq.com/) . If you have the time/in the area, or just want a great beer/bbq and to help out, please stop by. Feel free to PM me for more info/questions.

We all have causes we want to help......this is one of mine. Help if you can, give encouragement if you can't.

For those that don't know, it is a great ride and a great cause. If you've ever wanted to try a century, this is one to do--well supported and you get to help support others, what more can you ask for? Plus, a nice extra little 50 on day 2 (or you can just do 50miles/day x 2 days)

kevin - prior commitments will keep me from attending beer hellraiser, err i mean fundraiser. but will most def make contribution to worthy cause. best of luck raising money and in ride (save some legs for BB!)
