I have a C5 Corvette Fixed Roof Coupe, and the number combination "168" is lucky in my culture (Chinese). |

I ride with Team Dirty Work, where others pick a nick name for you. In sites like this one where you pick your own nick name you end up with names like Crankin, Jammin, Damn I'm Bitchin' and the likes. We endup with names like SjonDart (a morf of lawndart), Ou-Oh, Wreck, Scheddie (because he's alway scrapped or schedded), Trailwalker, Tator Tot, and me Blueman, because I used to have blue night vision lights, just to name a few.

Who is Busterjohn??? This is what I wrote for my myspace blog...
People have asked me in the past..."Where did you get that name Busterjohn?"...well, here goes. There have been dog men (pitbull owners)throughout time who have strived to find his/her ultimate dog...one that is game in heart, loyal, obedient, smart, affectionate, and most of all his/her friend. There are people who will spend a lifetime buying or breeding dogs and never get that experience and what it has to offer. "Buster Red" was all of these and so much more. I was very fortunate to have acquired my best friend "Varela's Ace /Ace Buster Red" on January 30, 1992. He was born on Christmas Eve 1991 and was my pick of the litter of 11. I have always heard that you don't pick your dog...they pick you...and Buster was the first to break from the litter and come to me. He was with me for almost 16 years and through those years, he was at my side through thick and thin. We traveled all over the country attending ADBA National Dogshows, weight pulling events, and even vacations. Buster needed a mate and in 1993 I acquired "Varela's Ace Peaches'N'Cream". She was a ball of fire with a soft side and a heart of gold. We were able to travel to such places like Oakland, Louisianna, Texas, Utah, Vegas, Oklahoma, and many more places in these United States. They were inseperable and through the years produced some real good offspring including "Varela's CH Sweetie Pie", "Medina's Mugzee", "Varela's CH Dodger Dog", and many more including my current boy Varela's Cassius Clay. I had a few friends also named John so we would tell eachother apart by attaching the name of our dog's to our name. Since Buster was my alpha dog in the yard, people associated his name with mine and that's where the name "BusterJohn" came from. It is a name that has stuck with me even after my boy was long gone...and his name will always be attached to mine whatever I'm doing! |
