My name was the product of teamwork on the part of my four year-old son and 20-month daughter. During an outing that took us to Adrenaline's demo day in the OC, I cruised by the park playground while testing a Foes, only to hear my son utter a shocked "hey look, daddy rides bicycles! I didn't know that". My daughter, in an effort to simplify the English language, started repeatedly spouting "Daddy rides? Daddy rides? Daddy rides?...." It just stuck. It's more a question of disbelief than a statement of fact. "Daddy rides? What are you thinking old-man?" Love my kids, but oh will they pay for their insolence! Revenge is one of parenthood's sweetest rewards.

nice...as i'm kitting up at home to ride to trailhead I always get "that look" from my 2yr old son and he says "daddybike". maybe i need to change my username as well

in my humble bike beginnings, some of my pals took me to Aliso for a ride and we did some illegal trails. because I suck at down hill, I was spotted on my YELLOW bike on the side of the hill by the ranger driving down the main trail. Busted.. The boys split and when I got down, I gave the ranger cow eyes and played stupid blonde and got out of the ticket. I've been called poacher ever since.
